I am a product and furniture designer with over 20 years international experience across a wide range of industries, from furniture, lighting and homewares to footwear and sports equipment.

Equal parts minimalist and maximalist, I love distilling an object down to a single idea or detail, then amplifying it in ways novel, brave, joyous and memorable.

During my time designing for Allbirds, I continued to refine this approach of distillation and amplification. Designing from the fibres and molecules up gave me a deeper understanding of the true impact objects have on the world, and the opportunity designers have to shape that impact.

After several years in San Francisco, I am now based back in New Zealand, once again working from a quiet seaside location.
